Huddle House Appoints Veteran Franchise Attorney, Melissa Rothring, to General Counsel

ATLANTA — Huddle
House CEO, Michael Abt, has announced the newest addition to his leadership
team, Melissa Rothring, who will serve as General Counsel.

in multi-brand retail and QSR franchise brands made her the ideal for this

be responsible for the overall legal support and legal strategic planning for
Huddle House, as well as maintaining legal continuity in franchising business analysis and management.
"Having worked for restaurant brands, I have always been
impressed with Huddle House’s growth and brand success," Rothring said. "I look
forward to adding insight and strategies to continue to grow the Huddle House
Prior to joining Huddle House, Rothring had a 19-year
career which included leadership positions with several top franchise brands.
Most recently she served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary for GFG Management, LLC, an Atlanta-based, multi-brand retail and QSR
franchisor/licensor of Great American Cookies, MaggieMoo’s, Marble Slab
Creamery, Pretzel Time, Pretzelmaker, Shoebox New York and The Athlete’s
Foot. Prior to GFG, Rothring was Chief Legal Officer at Blimpie
International, Inc. and an executive at Kahala Corp., each a multi-brand QSR licensor/franchisor.
