Huddle House wins big with York Public High School loyalty
Local restaurant rewards $1,000 to school football team for winning nationwide fan contest
Students and staff at York Public High School proved they have more than school spirit – they have ultimate loyalty to York’s Huddle House.
In an effort to rally the communities it serves, Huddle House hosted a company-wide “Raving Craving Fans” contest to find and reward the nation’s most devoted customers. Thanks to its continued support throughout the football season, York Public High School was recently named one of ten high schools to win the contest, which awards the school’s football team a $1,000 prize.
“Nebraska loves football!,” said Tod Riley, owner of Huddle House in York. “It was our honor to join with the community in support of the York Dukes. Congratulations to all on York High School’s first ever State Football Championship season!”
Huddle House’s “Raving Craving Fans” contest was a brand-wide initiative that drew together two hometown values – team pride and love for southern food. Participating Huddle House restaurants handed out branded coupons at their local high schools’ football games, and the locations with the most redeemed coupons were awarded the monetary prize.
Based in Atlanta, Huddle House restaurants have earned adoration in their communities for their warm, friendly atmospheres where every conversation, sip of coffee and bite of home-cooked meals are savored. Known for its round-the-clock breakfast, Southern hospitality and big portions at fair prices, Huddle House embeds itself into every community it serves.
