Huddle House will hold fundraiser for Talladega High, Zora Ellis Jr. High bands

Talladega, AL
Oct 7, 2017

Talladega's Huddle House at 720 E. Battle St. will host a special fundraiser for the Talladega High School band Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 5 to 10 p.m., according to a press release. The event is sponsored by the Band Boosters of Talladega.

According to band boosters spokesperson Renee Humphrey, 20 percent of the proceeds from all sales made during the event will be donated to the band, and donations will be accepted by adults as well. Please do not make any donations directly to students, for legal reasons, Humphrey said.

Money raised will go to buy new uniforms for both the high school and Zora Ellis Junior High School marching bands, Humphrey said.

"The Huddle House restaurant in Talladega is rallying the community to support the Talladega High School band, and to keep the local arts alive," the release says. "Huddle House is inviting the community to attend the fundraiser event to show its support for the Talladega High School band and local music programs."

All Talladega residents, music lovers and Huddle House fans are invited, the release says.
